Vakantiehuis HOY is a completely renovated CO2-neutral holiday home in Oostduinkerke, between Nieuwpoort and Koksijde and surrounded by 260 hectares of unspoilt nature. The holiday home is only 950 metres from the sea, with a swimming pool on the beach. All modern conveniences (including electric stairs and heated outdoor shower), 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open-plan kitchen with access to the sun terrace, which you can also enjoy in the low season.
The Hoy holiday home combines comfort and sustainability:
Underfloor heating in winter, passive cooling in summer thanks to geothermal energy and a heat pump.
Ventilation with heat recovery ensures a clean indoor climate.
You can quickly charge your electric car at the charging station, while you can charge your electric bikes in the bike room.
There are 2 electric scooters and a trolley available for guests to use.
When you leave the house, you can switch off all the lights at the touch of a button.
A solar-powered hot water boiler supplies the outdoor shower with hot water.
The interior was designed by local manufacturers.
Why the name HOY?
"Hoy" is the Spanish word for "today". Our holiday home has been renovated to meet the sustainability standards of tomorrow, but wants to remain a place where you can enjoy today, with all the comforts. Come and enjoy today in our holiday home that is ready for tomorrow.
The house comprises the following areas on the ground floor:
Large living room with sitting area, dining table and open-plan kitchen with cooking island and direct access to the terrace through three large sliding windows.
Two bedrooms for 2 people each with direct access to the terrace
Bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet as well as a separate toilet
Spacious, south-facing terrace
all rooms are at ground level and accessible for wheelchair users
The upper floor extends up to the roof with doors almost three metres high. The old wooden beams are still visible after the remodelling. There are the following rooms on this floor:
Two bedrooms that can accommodate two adults. An extra bed can be set up in a seating area if required.
Spacious bathroom with walk-in shower and bathtub, separate WC.

The holiday home has all the electrical appliances you need for a perfect holiday:
In the kitchen there is a dishwasher, an induction hob with an extremely quiet extractor bonnet, a large fridge with freezer compartment, a convection oven and a combi-microwave.
There is also a coffee machine, a Nespresso machine, a citrus juicer, a blender,...
a television and a Sonos speaker through which you can listen to all your music.
in the utility room there is a second fridge with a separate freezer compartment, a washing machine and a tumble dryer.
We always rent Vakantiehuis HOY on a weekly basis from the Easter holidays to the autumn holidays, usually from Friday to Friday. In winter, outside the school holidays, it is also possible to rent on weekends only (arrival Friday, departure Monday). For a weekend you calculate with the weekly price -30%. It is also possible to arrive or depart one day earlier or later. For further information you can always contact us.
Check-in is possible from 4 pm.
Departure is possible before 9.30 am.
The beds are made on arrival.
Towels and kitchen linen are provided.
Final cleaning is included in the price
A high chair and a baby cot are available.
A guarantee of €500 is always required, which will be refunded within 14 days of the stay if no damage is found.
The booking is only binding after a deposit of 30%. The balance must be paid 1 month before the stay.
